This error code shows up when you have no Paypal balance or an insufficient balance, when you try to calculate a shipping label.
Normally, you’d expect Paypal to take the funds from your linked bank account the way they do in usual purchases. But they’ve made it such that when you’re attempting to print a shipping label via the Paypal interface, you have no choice but to update the card if you want to move forward.
You can try to solve this by adding a new debit or credit card to link to your account or updating the expiration date on an existing card on file.
This Paypal ERRORCODE-50023 has been reported as occurring between January 2016 and July 2017.

I got this error on my paypal to do a shipping label i link my bank account to paypal and still wont let me do a shipping label

Set as preferred
Still did not work
